With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with the RD 798068 (Lamp Logo) ROBERTS & BELK ROMNEY PLATE mark and engraved on the blades with the ROBERTS & BELK LTD FURNIVAL WORKS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark. All knives have superior quality hollow handles that are silver plated that are silver soldered to world famous Sheffield stainless steel blades. This is a lovely vintage set that dates from the mid 1930’s comes in it’s original boxes and look to me like it has not been used. It has been recently polished so is clean and ready to use. The boxes have a few marks and biro marks on the edge of one of the lid. That the boxes lasted this long is remarkable. Checking through the sets I note that two Teaspoons have a different stamp but still carry the RD 798068 (Lamp Logo) mark so are identical to the other pieces and are made by Roberts & Belk.
